CONTROLS

Wear a Safety Helmet, Safety Shoes, Safety Gloves, safety glass and visibility vest.

Check material before commencing work.

Conduct housekeeping before and after work. Disposed waste separately regularly

The material should be stored and segregated properly, ensuring access/egress routes.

All ladders should be inspected regularly with appropriate colour coding. Routine checks should be done by the user before use. All ladders should be secured or someone must hold them while in use. Use inspected and tagged scaffolding platform if necessary, wear Full Body Harness 100% tied off in open elevated area

Check the right position manually for any object and need body system if necessary

Manual handling should be done with the body system if the lifting load is long or heavy. Check the pathway dump hauling.

Barricade the area with appropriate signage.

All materials should be segregated properly providing proper access and egress route.

All power tools should be inspected and color-coded. AD operators should attend training seminars, not exert too much pressure on the abrasive wheel, and provide shielding to prevent the striking of flying objects.

All personnel involved in this activity must attend STARRT Talk ensuring they signed in the attendance sheet. The FM Engineer/Supervisor should explain the hazard and its corrective measures to prevent accidents.

The engineer must ensure that the ladder is inspected and colour-coded before use.

All scaffolds should be erected under the supervision of a competent scaffolding supervisor and be checked by a competent inspector.

The FM/in charge should discuss the daily STARRT Talk.

FM Engineer/Supervisor to monitor from time to time and this should be discussed during STARRT talk.
