Control Measures
1. All operatives must wear lifejackets or flotation suits (without safety lines) while working on floating platforms.
2. Floating pontoons shall be assembled skillfully, by the manufacturer's instructions.
3. The maximum permissible list of the floating platform shall not exceed 3 degrees under working conditions.
4. A manned safety boat shall be provided where necessary.
5. A competent person shall conduct a design check to check the platform's stability under all possible working conditions.
