Control Measures
1. All fuels are to be stored in the correct type of container and clearly labeled.
2. No smoking / naked flares near fuels.
3. Tanks must have delivery points and all hoses should be kept within the storage area and have adequate ventilation.
4. Always wear the PPE laid down in the COSHH regulations for that type of fuel.
5. Bund walls or spill tanks to be provided.
6. Use of double bunded fuel tank.
7. All diesel fuel storage bowsers will be lockable and padlocked.
8. No petrol is to be stored on site.
