Tower crane Foundations

Setting out location for Tower Crane Erection/Installation shall be accomplished as per the site plan. The excavation process for the crane foundation shall be conducted as per the approved drawing.
The process of blinding concrete shall be poured under the foundation. The shuttering and reinforcement steel shall be installed as per the approved drawing.
The fixing angles shall be fixed in the exact and accurate location as per the approved drawing.
Using the 50-ton mobile crane, one mast section weighing 1.555 tons shall be placed inside the fixing angles and secured in place appropriately and accordingly to make sure that the correct alignment of the fixing angles for the tower crane erection/installation.
The tower crane mast section shall be aligned and checked for plumpness, and squareness accordingly.
Concrete shall then be poured as per the approved drawing and left to cure for seven days.

The crane supervising engineer shall make sure that the crane crew attends essential Site HSE Training with the primary Contractor's HSE trainer before starting the crane erection & Installation work.
The complete and third-party tested components of the tower cranes shall be provided and delivered to the site by a flat-bed trailer.
The crane crew shall check and verify that components are in proper working order and as commissioned.
The components for the tower crane will be offloaded from the trailer by the 50-ton mobile crane. The trailer and mobile crane shall be positioned securely and as per the drawing.
The crane supervising engineer shall observe, verify and report any damaged or missing tower crane components before starting erecting or installation.
The crane competent and licensed and well-trained crew shall prepare the crane for erecting/installation.
