Control Measures
- Elimination of slipping and tripping hazards
- Hanging of the wires with the wall
- Elimination of noise by acoustic material where applicable and possible
- Training of the workers on ergonomics and material handling
- Use of mechanical means in place of manual handling
- Elimination of overreaching by provision of proper standing platform such as step ladders
- Elimination of sharp edges through putting covers
- Training of the office employees on safe working techniques
- Emergency escape route should be regularly inspected and kept clear of any obstacles
- Fire detector and smoke detectors should be installed
- Emergency drills should be conducted on different interval
- Sanitary conveniences should be cleaned on regular basis.
- Portable drinking water cups should be provided to avoid unhygienic conditions.
