Symptoms of Novel Corona virus - COVID-19

Corona virus Disease (COVID) - 2019

Fever is the most frequent symptom, although some aged personal and those with other health issues experience fever later in the disease. In one research, forty four percent (44%) of people had fever when they are taken into the hospital, while eight-nine percent (89%) went on to establish fever at some stage during their medical treatment.

Other routine symptoms include cough, loss of appetite (hunger), fatigue (weakness), shortness of breath, sputum production, and severe muscle and joint pains. Moreover, symptoms for example, include sneezing, runny nose, or sore throat.

More serious and threatening COVID-19 suspected symptoms include difficulty breathing, constant chest pain or pressure, confusion/distraction, difficulty waking, and bluish face or lips. Prompt medical consideration is advised if these COVID-19 symptoms are present.

In some circumstances, the disease may advance to pneumonia, multi-organ failure problems, and fatality.  Those patients or suspected who establish severe viral symptoms, time from symptom onset to requiring mechanical ventilation is typically 8-days. Some cases of COVID-19 in China originally granted with only chest tightness and palpitations/pulsation.

Loss of smell was diagnosed as a familiar symptom of COVID 19 in March 2020, although perhaps not as common as originally reported. A declined sense of smell and/or disruptions in taste have also been reported. Estimates for loss of smell range from 15% to 30% approximately.

The Incubation Period

As is familiar with infections, there is a latency between the moment a person is first infected and the time he or she establish symptoms. This process is called the incubation period. The incubation period for COVID 19 is commonly 5-6 days but may range from 2-14 days, although 97.5% of people who establish symptoms will do so within 5-11 days of infection.

A minority of COVID-19 confirm cases do not establish observable symptoms at any stage in time. These asymptomatic carriers turn not to get tested, and their character in transmission is not yet fully familiar. However, preparatory evidence suggests they may subsidize to the spread of the viral disease. In March 2020, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) reported that twenty percent (20%) of confirmed COVID-19 cases remained asymptomatic during their hospital stay.
